I love this game, I havent finished it yet, but already, a few (okay 10) hours in, I think this deserves a five star review. Now, I could say how much I enjoyed it, I could go on and on about that, but when I buy a game, I want to know some cons.
So here they are:
This was written on the iPod 5th gen, which is the low end of the gaming spectrum, I know, but its what I have. I had extra storage, tons of extra, and no other apps were running. It crashes a fair amount. I deleted and reinstalled it a few times, and it works fine now, but it crashes more than it should, but not much. It runs pretty slow too, and the HUD is smaller than I would have liked, but its manageable. I have gone through all the settings and changed them around, and these things have pretty much stuck. I recommend using a more powerful device. But, if you have an iPod5, its still worth getting. Ive had little trouble getting past this. It also loads very slowly. At times it has taken a while to load, then crashed. A lower-device performance update would be awesome. But about the actual game. The dialogue I found genuinely funny. Not laugh out loud, but it makes the whole game much better. The game is a bit on the grindy side, as in you have to go all over the place finding a ton of rare stuff and fighting a ton of the same monster. But I still enjoyed it, because 99% of the time youre gonna have more than one quest. You usually have like five at once, so the grinding is reduced. Also, the infinite inventory and unbreakable tools really add to making the grinding more enjoyable. The story is pretty fun, and really enjoyable. Im in phase two of the game, I believe there are three, and I havent gotten sick of it yet. The building, as advertised, is very streamlined. The wall textures really dont blend together at all, but I havent seen this as a problem. The one problem I see with building is the crazy amount of materials it takes. Or maybe thats just me, building my gigantic manor. At any rate, this game is excellent and worth a buy. This is barely even comparable to any other game Ive played, like most good games on this App Store, that Im not even going to try. Happy crashlanding!
Is that a word?
I dont think so.
